Pricing
Chemical software prices are often hidden behind a sales call. Ours are published here. Starter costs nothing. Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually, and annual billing costs the same as ten months.

Prices exclude VAT. All paid plans are invoiced against a purchase order and paid by BACS. There is no card payment.
Choosing a plan
A single secondary school or college should begin with Starter if the store is small or if you just want to try it. Starter holds 150 line items, and a typical prep room will outgrow that, so the School plan is where most science departments will end up. It removes the limits for one site and adds stock check mode, reports, import and export and the AI assistant.
A multi-academy trust pays per site on the Trust plan, with a minimum of three. Three schools come to £177 a month or £1,770 a year. A trust with one or two schools would use the School plan instead. See chemical inventory for trusts.
A university usually buys by department. Each department on the plan gets multi-lab locations and principal investigator ownership on the row. If you want to run the register across a whole institution, Enterprise is the better conversation. See chemical inventory for universities.
A hospital site or private laboratory uses the Hospital plan. An NHS trust with several sites is likely to fit Enterprise. See chemical inventory for hospitals and pathology.
Pharmacies, clinics, veterinary and dental practices and industrial laboratories should look at the store size and the number of users. A single practice is close to the School plan in what it needs. The plan name is just a name, so choose by features and limits.
How paying by invoice works
There is one route for every paid plan, because this is how schools, trusts and NHS bodies tend to buy.
You choose a plan and ask to be invoiced. We generate an invoice as a PDF, showing your purchase order number if you have given one, VAT and the bank details to pay into. You raise it with your finance team in the normal way, and they pay by BACS. When the payment is received, we mark the invoice as paid and the plan becomes active.
No card is taken and no direct debit is set up. There is no automatic charge to anyone's card at renewal. A finance user in your organisation can see invoices and plan details without having access to edit stock.
Payment terms for invoices are [TO CONFIRM].
Monthly or annual
Monthly suits a department that wants to spread the cost or try a paid plan for a term. Annual saves two months and needs only one purchase order a year, which many school finance offices prefer. Both are invoiced. Both show the same features.
What happens when you reach a limit
Plan limits are enforced with a clear message telling you what has happened and what your options are. The register does not quietly drop rows or stop saving. If a Starter account reaches 150 line items, you will be told when you try to add the next one.
What the plan does not include
Plans cover the software. Collections are priced job by job, based on what you are sending, and quoted before you commit. A minimum order value applies to collections, currently £750 excluding VAT. Our how collection works guide explains what affects the price.
A chemical store assessment and an annual collection plan are also priced separately.
If you book a collection above £1,500, we apply three months of the School plan free of charge. We do this by hand on your account after the booking.
Enterprise
Enterprise is quoted, starting from £899 a month or £8,990 a year. It is for multi-site NHS trusts and larger groups, and includes onboarding, migrating your existing data and a service level agreement agreed with you. The terms are set out in your contract, so we do not publish them here.
What we will not do
There are no per-user fees on paid plans, no setup fees and no prices that apply only if you sign today. If a price changes, it changes on this page.
Frequently asked questions
Can we pay by card or direct debit?
No. There is no card payment in this product. Paid plans are invoiced, and you pay by BACS.
Do you need a purchase order?
We can put your purchase order number on the invoice. If your organisation does not use them, you can leave it blank.
When does a paid plan begin?
When we have marked the invoice as paid. Until then your account stays on its current plan.
How does annual billing compare with monthly?
On every plan, the annual price is the same as ten months of the monthly price.
Does the collection service cost extra?
Yes. Plans cover the software. A collection is priced separately for each job, and quoted before you commit to it.
Are these prices inclusive of VAT?
[TO CONFIRM]. VAT is shown as its own line on every invoice.
